Maurine is a highly respected value creator within the business community and her wealth of project management and regulatory experience spans the globe.

Prior to joining the Banting Research Foundation she was director of a global integrative health company.  In this leadership role she partnered with CEOs, senior executives, entrepreneurs and local communities to transform and bring the vision to life.  In addition, she created business development and platform strategies for global expansion.

Her ability to adeptly navigate the public (university and government), private (banking and commerce), and CPG (pharma and cosmetics), industries enables her to nurture and grow high-value client relationships from multiple business sectors.

Working with the Board, she is addressing the urgent need to invest in emerging Canadian research talent, catalyze biomedical discovery, and to future-proof the Foundation’s mission.
